Doing the Shuffle, the iPod Shuffle

Music I listened to on the way to work and back:

“A Sorta Fairytale” – Tori Amos

“World Without End” – Laurie Anderson

“Sultan, So Mighty” – Vic Chesnutt

“Big Ugly Wheels” – The Beat Farmers

“Tell Me about the Forest” – Dead Can Dance

“Not Now John” – Pink Floyd

“I’m Sorry” – Hothouse Flowers

“Long Distance Runaround” – Red House Painters

“Please Be Kind” – Frank Sinatra

“The World’s My Oyster Soup Kitchen Floor Wax Museum” – King Crimson

“Birdie Brain” – The Fiery Furnaces

“Danny Boy” – Johnny Cash

Not a bad one in the bunch, but I’m in the mood to share The Beat Farmers:1

    RIP Country Dick Montana

Yeah, the thing I love about the Beat Farmers is the mix of cool alt-country and the crazy weirdness of Dick. He was friends with Mojo Nixon and the wrote some songs together.
