It is surprisingly green. I am more familiar with southern AZ and NM, less green, more saguaros.
Sorry to hear about T or C, but with a population of 7-8k, I can’t say I am very surprised. My hometown had 15-20, and I can’t imagine living there, if there was nothing else around, like in T or C.
