It's kind of funny that I didn't know how much you liked the show when I was living in MD. Not funny "ha-ha" but more like funny ironic, ya know?

Dude,

I am so with you on the little boy thing. I also met the Doctor (TB too) at my grandmothers. My sister and I would sit in her bedroom, lying on the carpet in front of the nightstand that held the small TV. the (still corded) remote control on the floor between us. We'd watch Nickelodeon (a hitherto unknown station for Cable was still very far in the future for us--but not my grandmother). Dr Who came on right after The Tomorrow People, another fun British show that too few remember or have heard of. For years, I never knew that there was another Doctor bedside Tom Baker, and when PBS started running Dr Who, along with a slew of other British programing, my family was rivited, either staying up until 2 in themorning to see how he escaped, or taping them and watching all Sunday. We liked many of the others, but Tom will always be THE Doctor for me.
